Bahati Simon Kaijuka

Simon is the Human Resource Manager at Aponye (U) Ltd. He’s a results-oriented HR professional with over 10 years’ experience in strategic planning, directing and coordinating HR and administration policies; Skilled in various staff affairs such as recruitment, talent development, performance management, team building and compensation and benefits management; He’s well versed with national employment laws and regulations, promoting compliance and collaboration with regulatory bodies.

In addition to his role as HR, he serves on Aponye (U) Ltd Top Management Committee, providing strategic oversight to functional units regarding daily operations and future business sustainability.

He holds a Bachelors Degree in Commerce (MUK), a postgraduate diploma in HR and Certificates in Project Planning and Management and, Guidance and Counseling. He’s currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business administration at University of East London, UK. His areas of focus have been strategic human capital planning and development, strategic leadership, business analysis and performance improvement.

His experience in human capital management, business acumen and leadership capabilities accumulated from both NGOs and for-profit organizations make him an indispensable company resource.
